The Speedmaster by Omega has the honorable nickname "astronauts watch". Since 1965 it is the official chronograph of astronauts of NASA.On July 21st 1969, Neil Armstrong was the first human to set foot on the Moon, wearing a Speedmaster. The Omega Moonwatch features a black dial, chronograph counters and tachymeter, which were the distinctive features of the initial hand-winding Speedmaster released in 1957. The Omega watch is driven by the prominent Calibre 1861, 'bold' enough to accompany the timepiece into zero gravity.
